In 2008, she landed a full time position at the front desk of The Chula Vista Yoga Center in her hometown of Southern California. By 2009, she earned her 200hr Teacher Training Certification and started a weekly kid’s class under her teachers Kristyan Stjerne and Jano Galindo. Respectfully referred to as her Gurus as they are trained in several traditional styles from various teachers such as Sri Dharma Mittra and Tim Miller. Annmarie serves quite a mixed plate of devotion through being the next generation in the yogic lineage. Growing with her 500 hours of certifications now in 2016, she is able to hold the light strong, steady, and with Love. Utilizing the tools from extensive trainings in San Francisco, Bali, Costa Rica, Maui, and now Colorado as she studies with her latest inspiration Maureen Gildersleeve here at Mangala Yoga. As the sun rises in the East and sets in the West, she feels as though the practice of yoga is a universal way of saluting that process and the sacred essence of all life. When attending her classes, you’re most likely to experience a musical journey as she guides you through a flow of a strong Vinyasa style.
“I am truly stoked to be here. Join me on this journey that leads us to the connectivity of our divine creation. Blessings!” ~ Annmarie
Max FerrisMax’s journey on the yoga mat started in 2013. A journey packed with transformation and change has revealed to him a beautiful way of life. A practice that involves a lot more than just the physical level of Asana. A practice that is deeply in tune with the mental, physical, and spiritual levels of ourselves. As his journey continued on the yoga mat he realized that this feeling, this thought process, this lifestyle, this practice of the mind, body, and spirit was no stranger. Max’s strong comprehension of yoga came from a direct correlation of his love for martial arts. His heart filled with light knowing that his yoga journey actually started with the day he stepped on a Jiu Jitsu mat in 2008.
His yoga teacher training with Maureen Gildersleeve in 2013 has helped him develop a strong and challenging class. You’ll leave Max’s class fulfilled, at peace, and with a smile on your face.
“Be positive and the challenge will be easier. True strength is not always shown through victory. Stand up, try again and display strength of the heart.” Rickson Gracie
